Quick facts about the Castle Walking Track: Distance: Around 12km (out and back trail) Hiking time: 8-10 hours depending on fitness level; Elevation gained: Roughly 847 metres; Level of difficulty. There's a few easy to moderate walking options that we'd done in the past (based on the Griffiths Track loop), but the route depicted here is a longish (19km) walk along the Kangaroo Ridge Trail.
